Our client is looking to build a strong team to design and develop the Smart Building solutions of the future. You will join a multinational company with a startup mindset, working in a sector with a strong environmental impact. Our client’s mission is to generate energy savings.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead our client’s expansion in Portugal by identifying, contacting, and qualifying new business opportunities (retail, logistics, supermarkets, commercial real estate, etc.);
- Monitor the market for energy efficiency needs, local legislation (e.g., EPBD directive), and public/private tenders;
- Manage the full sales cycle: from first contact and needs assessment to value proposition, negotiation, and contract closure;
- Conduct technical site visits and provide technical support to partner teams;
- Develop sales and marketing initiatives, in collaboration with the marketing lead;
- Represent our client in Portugal by attending trade shows, professional events, and strategic partner meetings;
- Ensure customer satisfaction and retention of existing contracts, upselling included;
- Be available to travel to Madrid or Paris for training sessions.
Your Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business or Engineering;
- Experience: At least 3 years in B2B technical sales, ideally in energy, BMS, facility management, IoT, or solar energy.
Key skills:
- Strong prospecting abilities and experience with medium/long sales cycles;
- Solid technical understanding (buildings, supervision systems, protocols such as Modbus);
- Autonomy, precision, and commercial drive;
- Fluency in Portuguese and a good command of English; French is a plus.
