The Role
We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to drive visibility, engagement, and brand awareness across our global social media channels. Our primary social platform is LinkedIn and we are looking to expand and refine the use of it, but also add additional social media channels (X, YouTube, Instagram, etc.)
You will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and optimizing social media content that speaks to our audiences, whether it’s promoting our MES solutions, showcasing customer success stories, or sharing relevant industry trends.
This role is ideal for someone who is both creative and analytical, enjoys storytelling, and is comfortable working in a collaborative, B2B technology environment.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Content Creation: Write and adapt copy for social media posts, collaborate with designers to develop visuals, and curate relevant industry content
- Work with designers, product marketing, or content teams for thought leadership pieces, event recaps, and product spotlights
- Publishing & Scheduling: Use social media management tools to plan, schedule, and publish content across platforms such as LinkedIn, X (Twitter), YouTube, and others. Own the social media content calendar across platforms. Ensure messaging aligns with broader campaigns, product launches, events, and brand tone
- Engagement & Community Management: Monitor comments and conversations, respond appropriately, and engage with relevant discussions to build relationships and increase brand presence. Proactively engage with customers, partners, influencers, and relevant accounts, and escalate issues or opportunities
- Employee Advocacy Enablement: Encourage and enable employees to share and amplify content. Create pre-written posts, guidelines, and social templates for internal use. Track internal reach and adoption
- Performance Analysis: Track engagement, reach, and other metrics. Provide regular reports with actionable insights to continuously improve content and strategy
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product marketing, demand generation, and content teams for thought leadership pieces, event recaps, and product spotlights
What You Must Have
- 2–5 years of experience managing social media for a B2B company or technology brand
- Deep understanding of LinkedIn (primary), plus working knowledge of Twitter/X, YouTube, and Instagram
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone and messaging for different audiences and platforms
- Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar)
- Comfortable working with visual assets, collaborating with designers, and ensuring brand consistency
- Solid understanding of social media analytics, with the ability to interpret data and optimize performance
- A creative, proactive mindset with strong attention to detail and a drive for continuous learning
- Excellent English skills – spoken and written
