About the role
As a consultant you will be responsible for the following non-exhaustive list of duties:
Consultant responsibilities:
- Understanding business and system requirements and contacting customers to gather further details.
- Producing quotes to meet the customer requirements.
- Working with a team of other Consultants, Team Leads and Coordinators in developing solution designs and deployment of solutions for any version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV or D365 Business Central (consultancy, configurations, or software customisations).
- Implementing core application functionality and modules: set up the application, perform data migration provide end-user training.
- Performing end-to-end process testing.
- Producing software specifications as required.
- Testing issues and working on issue resolution.
- Reporting on progress and communicating project plan concerns to the Team lead and Coordinators.
- Accurately updating the task management systems on work completed or being undertaken
What will you bring?
- Expertise in Business Central (BC): Deep understanding of Business Central functionalities, including finance, supply chain, and manufacturing modules.
- Consulting Experience: Proven track record in implementing or supporting D365 Business Central projects with a focus on customer success.
- Process Knowledge: Strong knowledge of business processes across various industries and how to optimize them using D365 BC.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex business challenges through technology solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing client expectations, and building relationships at all levels.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and stay up-to-date with new product features and industry trends.
- Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications in D365 Business Central or other Dynamics modules (preferred but not essential).
- Team Collaboration: A team player with a collaborative attitude, willing to share knowledge and learn from others.Attention to Detail: Ability to work methodically with a high level of accuracy, ensuring the best outcomes for clients.
