About the job
As a Senior Technical Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering Kantar’s innovative data platforms. This position is vital in ensuring the seamless development and deployment of one of our latest research products, directly impacting the way we provide insights to clients worldwide. Your contributions will drive technological advancement and maintain our position as an industry leader!
You will be responsible for defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals. Acting as the bridge between stakeholders and the development team, you will ensure alignment of objectives and delivery excellence. Joining a dynamic engineering community, you will work alongside with dedicated professionals, fostering collaboration and innovation to meet organizational and client needs effectively.
Job Goals
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business domain and strategic product roadmaps to align initiatives with organizational goals.
Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, Architects, and Software Engineering teams to define platform requirements and drive solution strategy.
Prioritize and maintain a clear and actionable backlog, ensuring alignment with project milestones and stakeholder expectations.
Support development teams throughout the software lifecycle by providing guidance, resolving queries, and participating in ceremonies like test design and user acceptance testing.
Facilitate cross-team collaboration, including organizing integration testing and coordinating deployments for successful end-to-end solutions delivery.
Create and maintain accurate product documentation, making it accessible for users and developers while ensuring clarity and precision.
Identify and implement opportunities for improvement across value delivery chains and within the Technical Product Ownership domain.
Ideal Skills & Capabilities
Shown experience in roles such as business analyst, product owner, or similar, demonstrating the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
A strong understanding of agile development practices and experience delivering products from concept to launch within iterative frameworks.
Ability to document, communicate, and visualise complex system requirements using tools such as Lucid, Miro, Azure DevOps, or Aha, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Advanced analytical skills to interpret data and derive insights using tools like Power BI, SQL querying, or App Insights, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Proven ability to align product strategy with organisational goals while handling technical and non-functional requirements, ensuring value delivery across the product lifecycle.
