We are looking for an experienced and motivated Product Owner with 5-6 years of experience to lead the integration and management of complex application features within AWS Cloud environments. As a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, you will ensure clear communication, effective product backlog management, and delivery of high-quality solutions that meet strategic business goals.- Hybrid position in Porto, Portugal

Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

Proactively initiate and manage communication with diverse business and technical stakeholders.

Organize and facilitate workshops to align scope, define requirements, and set delivery expectations.

Regularly report progress, manage risks, and facilitate issue resolution.

Product Planning & Backlog Management:

Translate business requirements into clear, actionable epics and user stories.

Manage, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog aligned with business strategies.

Define sprint goals and evaluate deliverables to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with development teams, architects, senior management, and product teams.

Provide functional and technical insights to internal and external deliverables.

Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the assigned products.

Agile Product Ownership:

Perform the Product Owner role effectively across agile teams.

Actively engage in agile ceremonies to provide clarity, feedback, and strategic direction.

Develop and manage release plans, setting clear internal and external expectations.

Product Development Support:

Collaborate with Product & Innovation teams to deeply understand business objectives.

Validate and challenge requirements to ensure alignment with user and market needs.

Coordinate creation of product mockups, wireframes, and prototypes.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

Lead and coordinate testing phases, including UAT, alpha, and beta testing.

Prioritize, manage, and communicate bug fixes and enhancements.

Strategic Alignment:

Ensure integration efforts consistently align with business stakeholder expectations.

Drive and maintain high-quality delivery leveraging AWS cloud solutions

What we are looking for:
-
3-5+ years of proven experience as Product Owner or Product Manager in agile/SaaS environments.
-
Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud-based application integration.
-
Excellent skills in stakeholder management, communication, and leadership.
-
Demonstrable ability to define clear and actionable user stories, epics, and backlog prioritization.
-
Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and associated tools (Jira, Confluence).
-
Experience effectively working with cross-functional teams and managing competing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:

Background in financial services, regulatory tech, or SaaS environments is highly advantageous.

Certifications in Product Ownership, Agile methodologies, or AWS cloud services are preferred.
