Job Title: Release Manager
Location: Porto, Portugal
Work Regime: Full-time & Hybrid (3 days per week at the office)
Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a Release Manager with strong expertise in planning, coordinating, and delivering complex releases across multiple applications and environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in CI/CD, Change and Incident Management, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver releases across multiple applications and environments.
- Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, release tools, risk management, and rollback strategies.
- Lead Change Advisory Board (CAB) sessions, manage change calendars, and resolve scheduling conflicts.
- Assess business and technical risks ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements.
- Lead incident response, including crisis communication during major incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis, postmortems, and integrate lessons learned into change/release processes.
- Act as a key communication point between technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.
