We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee to join our Innovation & Automation Unit. This is an exciting opportunity for a curious and proactive individual to gain hands-on experience and develop a foundational understanding across key areas of innovation and automation within a fast-paced and evolving environment. The Trainee will have exposure to a diverse range of functions, including Automation, Generative AI (GenAI), Customer Architecture, Security, and Innovation framework.
Position: Internship
Duration: 12 months
Start date (tentative): September, 2025
Location: Hybrid in Amadora, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their BSc or MSc degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school.
Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the Trainee will:
Automation:
• Support the analysis of existing processes to identify automation opportunities.
Generative AI (GenAI):
• Explore and research emerging GenAI technologies and their potential applications within CNS Services & Care.
• Assist in the development of proof-of-concepts and pilot projects utilizing GenAI.
Customer Architecture:
• Learn about designing customer-centric solutions and experiences.
• Assist in mapping customer journeys and identifying pain points.
Security:
• Gain an understanding of cybersecurity best practices and principles relevant to innovation and automation initiatives.
• Support security assessments and compliance efforts related to new technologies.
Innovation:
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and ideation workshops.
• Conduct market research and analysis on innovation trends.
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate (within the last 1-2 years) with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Demonstrated interest in technology, innovation, and problem-solving.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation tools or concepts (e.g., RPA, scripting) is a plus.
