Sonae Sierra is looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Helpdesk Technician to provide first-line technical support to internal users. This is a 100% on-site position based at our offices in Maia, and remote work is not permitted.
The ideal candidate will assist with diagnosing and resolving technical issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient IT environment for all employees.

Requirements:

Previous experience (1–2 years) in a Helpdesk, IT Support, or similar technical role

Good understanding of IT systems, desktop/mobile hardware, and software tools

Experience with ticketing systems, Active Directory, and remote support tools

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure

Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Availability to work 100% on-site at Sonae Sierra’s Maia location
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Respond to helpdesk tickets and user requests in a timely and professional manner

Troubleshoot and support Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, VPN, printers, and business applications

Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment (PCs, peripherals, mobile devices)

Set up new user accounts and manage permissions and access control

Escalate more complex technical issues to relevant IT teams

Document incidents, solutions, and support procedures

Support IT onboarding and offboarding processes
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and data security standards
