We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Assistant. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and procedures, and supporting the finance team with various accounting and treasury tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Support the monthly and year-end closing processes, maintaining proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Contribute to the preparation of annual financial statements and statutory reporting requirements.
- Calculate, validate, and ensure compliance with tax obligations, stay current on relevant laws and regulations.
- Support the preparation of financial forecasts, budget tracking, and management reports.
- Assist with payroll processing and coordinate regular payment runs.
- Perform treasury-related tasks, including cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, and supporting liquidity planning.
- Prepare treasury reports and control;
- Carry out other finance-related duties assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Some experience in accounting or financial management is a plus.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software, sage and MS Office.
- Outstanding excel level.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
