What you’ll do
- Lead and manage a small team of engineers through regular feedback, mentoring, coaching, and career development.
- Collaborate with the head of product to translate user needs into technical solutions and deliver impactful features.
- While contributing code, take ultimate technical ownership for the team's deliverables, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and reliability.
- Drive engineering best practices including code quality, testing, deployment processes, system architecture and technical decisions.
- Foster a product-focused engineering culture centered on user value, technical excellence, and collaborative ownership for product success.
- Advocate for developer experience and productivity by integrating AI-powered tools into development workflows.
What you’ll bring
- Strong technical background with SaaS delivery experience (ideally on a startup or scale-up environment).
- Experience building scalable and resilient systems across modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers, with demonstrated team leadership experience.
- Comfortable being hands-on while guiding others.
- You get AI. You’re already using it daily to move faster and build better, whether you're designing a system, writing code, or shipping features.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
