Senior Business Analyst
Job description :
The mission consists of to ensure the usual projects activity within Finance Implementation Projects Lisbon department of Finance function of the group BNP PARIBAS.
Within the department “Chief Operating Officer – Finance Solutions Office” of Finance function, in charge of the implementation of a harmonized Finance Operating Model, the “Finance Implementation Projects Portugal” unit is a part of the “Finance Implementation Projects” (FIP) unit located in Paris.
In a close and strong collaboration within FIP project team, the FIP Business Analyst operates in order to :
- ensure the projects of the roll-out of the One Financial System (OFS), in line with the global strategy of the Finance function.
- design, develop and implement the financial interfaces between the operating systems of Businesses and the Finance systems
- ensure the implementation of the remediation plans applicable to financial interfaces.
So, FIP Business Analyst handles the functional solutions of financial interfaces, that feed the main reporting streams (financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity, and credit risk).
FIP Portugal unit is organized in 3 main teams in charge of the projects according to their functional perimeters:
- FIP Capital Markets products
- FIP Banking Products for Corporate Banking
- FIP Banking Products for Retail Banking
The profile of FIP Business Analyst is business analyst :
- 3 years of overall professional experience in relevant area : banking or accounting or finance areas
- Master’s degree in accounting / finance
- TASKS
- CONTRIBUTING ON PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- PERFORMING FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATIONS AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROJECTS
- ENSURING SUPPORT AND MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY ON A SCOPE OF ACCOUNTING INTERFACES

Required profile :
You have 3 years of proven experience in the BUSINESS ANALYST field.
You are passionate about GENERAL ACCOUNTING and have initial experience in the SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST profession in the BANKING industry.
In order to carry out this assignment successfully, you must be proficient in:
- Technical Skills:
- Experience of project management
- Knowledge of general accounting and/or banking accounting is a plus
- Knowledge of banking products or capital markets products
- Knowledge of financial Information Systems
- MS Excel
- Language Skills: English (Expert) & Portuguese (Practice)
