Air Liquide Europe Business Services (ALEBS) was created in 2019 in Lisbon, Portugal with the mandate to provide financial services for Air Liquide European entities. In the space of 4 years, it has expanded to over 400 employees based in 3 office locations: Lisbon, Tomar and Guarda. The geographical scope was extended to include, besides the European affiliates also entities located in Africa, Middle-East and India, and the operational scope was extended and includes today not just Finance, but also Human Resources.
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
As an HR GBSC Trainee, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our data analytics capabilities, with a particular focus on a key project to develop and refine Power BI dashboards. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual to gain hands-on experience in HR operations and data visualization within a global context.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Power BI Dashboard Development: Collaborate with the HR Process Lead GBSC to design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards that provide actionable insights into HR metrics. This will involve data modeling and visualization best practices.
Data Collection & Preparation: Assist in identifying, extracting, and transforming data from various HR systems and sources to ensure data quality and integrity for reporting and analysis. This will involve utilizing tools like Google Sheets for data manipulation and validation.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support HR initiatives and answer specific business questions. Prepare clear and concise reports, presentations, and summaries of findings for diverse audiences.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes within the HR GBSC, contributing to greater efficiency and accuracy.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for Power BI dashboards, data sources, and analytical processes to ensure knowledge transfer and consistency.
Support & Collaboration: Provide support to the HR Process Lead GBSC team on various operational tasks as needed, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Education: Fresh Graduate in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency:
Power BI: Demonstrated strong foundational knowledge and hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling and report/dashboard creation.
Google Sheets/Excel (Advanced): Excellent proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including advanced formulas (e.g., VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, QUERY, ARRAYFORMULA), data validation, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
Data Handling: Experience with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) concepts.
Problem-Solving & Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving data discrepancies or issues.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proactiveness & Initiative: A self-starter with a strong desire to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team goals.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, global environment.
