Your Mission
As a Maintenance & Engineering Trainee, you will support the continuous evolution of BIAL’s infrastructure by managing and optimizing key projects in the areas of industrial maintenance, digitalization, and process efficiency. You will gain hands-on experience in a factory environment, working closely with engineering teams to enhance reliability, streamline documentation, and drive digital transformation initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0.

- Project Ownership: Take ownership of specific projects related to infrastructure, equipment, and building maintenance with a focus on recurring failure analysis and improvement strategies.
- Digital Transformation: Contribute to restarting and executing projects that support BIAL’s Digital and Industry 4.0 Strategy, bringing innovative thinking to unlock data potential.
- Process Optimization: Assist in improving internal documentation and process flows within the Engineering & Maintenance departments to increase operational efficiency.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use analytical tools to visualize and communicate actionable insights from technical data and maintenance records.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside Maintenance and Engineering teams to identify opportunities, share learnings, and implement solutions that reduce downtime and improve reliability.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Interest and enthusiasm for factory floor operations and industrial maintenance environments
- Basic knowledge of industrial equipment and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with programming languages and their application in technical environments
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Strong command of English (written and spoken)
- Initiative and autonomy, with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to contribute to digital innovation and continuous improvement in a technical setting
