Company Description
We are looking for a Senior M365 Application Integration Engineer to join a global team responsible for delivering and supporting Microsoft 365 services in a complex, hybrid environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for automation, security, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support the global M365 platform, including updates, patching, migrations, and deployments.
- Manage and enhance a provisioning portal built on Azure DevOps.
- Ensure high levels of security, availability, and compliance across the M365 environment.
- Provide 3rd/4th level support and collaborate with vendors and IT teams for issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain operational documentation and standard procedures.
- Drive knowledge transfer to L2 teams and support shift-left initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Cyber Defense, and Security.
- Lead change initiatives within the Application Integration team.
Job Description
- 3–5+ years of senior-level experience with Microsoft 365 in a hybrid provisioning and authentication environment.
- Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting, Azure DevOps, C# development, and Terraform.
- Experience in large-scale messaging infrastructure and federated authentication.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance, including Purview and Defender.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English (mandatory).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Information Security principles and practices.
Nice to Have
- CISSP or equivalent security certification.
- Broad understanding of information systems, including Windows and network security, and non-Windows operating systems.
Working Environment
- English-speaking environment.
- Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the Lisbon office.
