What you will be doing

Reporting to the VP Sales, EMEA, you will be responsible for growing the market for Cyber Professional Services (PS) and Managed Security Services (MSS) in the Western Europe area. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a regional sales strategy, building relationships with key customers, and driving revenue growth within the region. This role involves working with channel partners, enterprises, and other Hitachi Group entities to promote cybersecurity solutions and services.

• Achieve maximum sales growth, profitability, and account penetration in the region, through effective selling of PS and MSS offerings to existing and net new accounts
• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business
• Create and manage territory and account plans in the region, and regularly review progress of deliverables and revenue attainment with the VP Sales, EMEA and the SVP Global Sales
• Maintain data on customer calls; provide semi-monthly pipeline and activity updates
• Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
• Arrange product and service demonstrations for existing/potential customers, where appropriate and required, and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
• Identify new business opportunities and emerging cybersecurity needs in the region
• Plan and organize a personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the region
• Supply Management with verbal and written reports on customer needs, problems, and interests, as well as competitive activities and potential for new products/services
• Keep abreast of information security services, technology applications, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends via pertinent literature and consultation with marketing and technical service areas
• Participate in trade shows and conventions

 

What you will bring to the team

• 5+ years sales and account management experience
• Perfectly bilingual, French and English compulsory, another language is a plus
• Understanding of business culture, cybersecurity regulations, and market dynamics in Western Europe
• Ability to travel regularly (one week/month)
• Excellent written and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively with senior level executives
• Strong persuasive skills and ability to gain consensus
• Ability to consult with customers at a business level, translating and communicating strategic opportunities into requirements
• Ability to facilitate solutions in a complex technology and business environment
• Ability to manage customer expectations throughout a complex sales and delivery process
• Strong decision-making skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, along with the ability to work effectively under pressure
