YOUR ROLE
As a Purple Team Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our Red and Blue teams. You will be responsible for simulating advanced cyber threats and attacks, analyzing security defenses, and providing actionable insights to improve our overall security measures. Your expertise will help us proactively identify vulnerabilities and strengthen our defenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct simulated cyber attacks to test the effectiveness of security controls and defenses.
- Collaborate with Red and Blue teams to develop and execute comprehensive security testing strategies.
- Analyze attack vectors, techniques, and tactics used by adversaries.
- Identify and document vulnerabilities, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in security systems.
- Provide detailed reports and recommendations based on findings from security assessments.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Participate in incident response and forensic investigations as needed.
YOUR PROFILE
- Proven experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing, threat analysis, or incident response.
- Strong understanding of both offensive and defensive security techniques.
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
