RAY.BBDM Talent Advisors is currently recruiting a Purchase Order Administration Manager for a global leader in providing floating solutions for offshore energy production and storage, with over 60 years of experience and presence in more than 15 countries. The organisation is firmly committed to energy efficiency and reducing the environmental impact of offshore operations. This position will be based in Porto, Portugal, where the company has a Corporate Business Solutions Center.
This role plays a central part in managing the team responsible for purchase order administration within
the Indirect Procurement scope, ensuring process efficiency and strict adherence to internal policies across the Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of PO Administrators dedicated to Indirect Procurement.
- Ensure seamless and timely execution of the purchase order process.
- Safeguard compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Monitor process integrity and manage escalations effectively.
- Drive efficiency and consistency in alignment with the Group Supply Chain strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the Global Process Owner (GPO) to maintain process excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 10 years’ extensive experience in Purchase Order (PO) administration and team management.
- Basic understanding of legal and contract management. English proficiency is required.
