We are seeking an IT Project Management Office (PMO) specialist to join our team. As a PMO specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the project lifecycle from demand to closure, as well as providing portfolio reporting and serving as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders.
In your new role you will:
- Project support as part of central IT PMO: o Collaborate with and guide project managers from demand release towards project closure as part of the IT PMO team
- Agile consulting: o Support coaching , consulting and training of IT teams on agile practices and methodologies as part of the IT internal agile initiative core team
o Review project compliance with organizational standards, policies, and procedures
o Develop and manage project management metrics , dashboards, and reports to measure project and portfolio performance
o Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to drive agile adoption and knowledge sharing
o Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement , encouraging teams to experiment and learn from failures
You have a talent for driving project success and possess a keen sense for project management best practices. Your proactive approach and solution-oriented mindset allow you to tackle complex project management challenges with a positive and constructive perspective. With an open-minded and structured working style, you can work independently to analyze and resolve project issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new project management methodologies and tools.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration , or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in a PMO role
- Proven knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with project management tools, such as MS Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps
- Certification in project management , such as IPMA , or Agile will be a plus
- Fluency in English, both written and spoke
