Team Summary
We are looking for a dynamic professional to support the Human Capital function for our new office in Lisbon. You will be working closely with the Head of Human Capital for Lisbon to drive people strategy, to build capabilities and achieve key business outcomes. You will support the local Human Capital head in managing the employee lifecycle, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. This role involves collaborating with global teams in aligning the HR practices and policies.
What you will do:
- Talent Acquisition
- Drive and execute comprehensive search strategies designed to recruit candidates across all levels for the local entity (i.e. competitive research, networking, direct sourcing, etc.).
- Advocate for the candidate and create an excellent experience, supporting candidate assessment, evaluating candidate skills and business needs, and driving the interview and offer process.
- Implement University Relation plans & solutions for Top Tier Technology institutes.
- Deliver results, achieve desired hiring numbers and branding objectives.
- New Hire Onboarding and Offboarding
- Manage all aspects of onboarding and offboarding processes, coordinating activities, documentation and hosting country-specific New Hire Orientations.
- Employee Relations & Business Partnership
- Act as the main point of contact for employee concerns or questions, working closely with local Head of Human Capital and business leaders.
- Drive employee engagement and retention programs and provide guidance and support to managers and employees on Human Capital areas of performance management, training, development, relocation and team events
- Monitor employee satisfaction and morale, address issues related to employee wellbeing and suggest initiatives to enhance employee experience.
- HR Compliance
- Manage various HR processes to ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Maintain, and administer local benefits, aligning them with market best practices.
- Maintain accurate employee records and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Work closely with external payroll partners to ensure process/policy compliance and accurate regulatory reporting.
HR Metrics & Reporting – Maintain and report data from people processes such as employee attrition, headcount, immigration, etc. and share actionable insights.
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (master’s degree preferred)
- +3 years of proven experience in Recruiting or HR Generalist roles.
- Experience in the IT sector preferred.
- In depth knowledge of Portuguese labor laws and regulations.
- Commercial acumen and experience of using metrics for driving performance.
- A pro-active attitude and a passion for leading with integrity.
- Superior interpersonal skills, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Proven leadership experience in managing departments and teams.
