We are a company based in Lisbon, part of a leading and internationally recognized group operating in the Gaming and Entertainment market (both online and land-based).
We are currently looking for a Legal Specialist to join our Legal & Compliance team in a fast-paced iGaming environment.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring legal and regulatory compliance across the business, providing expert legal advice, managing contracts, and supporting interactions with regulatory authorities.
Responsabilities
· Draft and review legal opinions on regulatory, commercial, and operational matters;
· Review, negotiate, and manage contracts with providers, partners, and service suppliers;
· Support responses to external requests from competent authorities (SRIJ, UIF, law enforcement);
· Collaborate in the renewal of the online gambling license and submission of regulatory filings;
· Validate internal policies and procedures (Terms & Conditions, Cookies, Whistleblowing, etc.);
· Assist the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer in DPO and AML-related legal matters;
· Monitor and interpret legislative changes relevant to the gaming sector.
Requirements
· Law degree and registration with the Portuguese Bar Association;
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal advisory, preferably in gaming, technology, or regulated sectors;
· Strong knowledge of Portuguese and EU regulatory frameworks;
· High proficiency in English (written and spoken);
· Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills;
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment;
· Experience in a multinational or iGaming environment is a plus.
