The main goal of the position is to be the person in charge of the hydric necessities of the plants at the test plot and the proper functioning of the irrigation system as well as provide support to the Test Plot Agronomist.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible of the correct functioning and maintenance of the entire irrigation system.
- Responsible of the hydric needs of the plants at the test plot
- Preparation of fertilization solution.
- Feeding programs setup in the irrigation system application.
- Maintenance of an inventory of pesticide and fertilizer products.
- Support during the installation of new irrigation systems.
- Responsibility for EC, pH and % Drainage recordings and maintenance of the irrigation’s tools and devices.
- Giving support to the Test Plot Agronomist to make better decisions about nutrient deficiencies correction.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: 15,860.00€ - 24,000.00€ per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Coimbra, Distrito de Coimbra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Irrigation : 3 years (Preferred)
