A Day in the Life
As an intern in the Enabling Technologies team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting intra-operative technologies used in cranial and spinal procedures. This includes exposure to navigation systems, intra-operative imaging, and robotic-assisted surgery.
You will learn how these technologies integrate to ensure accurate and safe patient registration, and how to effectively support healthcare professionals (HCPs) in the operating room. Through practical experience, you'll understand the dynamics of the OR environment, key protocols, and best practices.
Internship details :
- Start date: October
- Duration: 12 months
- Location: Lisbon/Porto
- Work model: remote with on-site support
- Working time: 40 hours per week
- Planning and preparing for surgical procedures
- Providing on-site support in the operating room (OR)
- Offering remote support to customers via Microsoft Teams or phone
- Participating in planning meetings
- Troubleshooting technical issues with equipment or software
- Completing daily documentation and activity reports
- Traveling to support cases or customer needs within the assigned territory
- Recently graduated with min bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biomedical/Medical/Electronics Engineering or Nursing, Imaging/Radiology or a similar field
- Fluent in English and Portuguese
- Very proficient knowledge of MS office (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook) – particularly at ease with Excel adoption
- Ability to travel throughout the national territory
- Scientific and technical curiosity related to our therapies and technologies
- Eager to grow and learn, comfortable with ambiguity and with dynamic work environment
- Driving license
- Basic programming knowledge
- Matlab
- Spanish language
