Job Description
The Global Solution Architect is a client-facing role, within Operations. They manage a dedicated set of clients (on their own or within a wider client team) and are able to facilitate face-to-face meetings with clients. They work with other Operations and Commercial teams to manage both First-Time Delivery and BAU for their assigned global clients.
Responsibilities
Continuous engagement with Commercial stakeholders and global Clients to manage First-Time Delivery and BAU for their assigned global clients. This includes but is not limited to:
- Have a full understanding of the Global Service product portfolio, including its capabilities and limitations
- Conduct regular meetings with the client (e.g., present solutions and products, review performance metrics)
- Coordinate and ensure support on client queries regarding data quality; is always able to provide information regarding the status.
- Ability to challenge internal feedback, predict client impact, and anticipate client questions/feedback, thus preventing iterations on resolution with the client.
- Convert the clients’ needs into internal work orders for Operations.
- Generate status reports for defined client projects and supervise performance.
- Recommend data improvements.
- Enforce data quality through cooperation with the Commercial and Operations teams.
- Manage client escalations linked to quality and/or timeliness.
- Drive profitability by supporting revenue growth initiatives and/or cost control initiatives.
- Prioritise workload / escalate accordingly to mitigate potential penalty risks.
Experience & Functional Skills:
- University degree in commercial or technical subject
- 4-5 years of cross-functional operational experience
- Exposure to NielsenIQ preferred.
- Experience in an International environment.
- Strong technical understanding of the operations production platforms and capabilities preferred.
- Advanced Business English knowledge, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms (Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics)
- Proficiency in NielsenIQ tools preferred
- Analytical skills
- FMCG knowledge
Soft Skills:
- Good relationship management skills to effectively liaise with clients, commercial, and internal operational teams
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to build relationships across regions and cultures to establish a network.
- Coordination Skills
- Troubleshooter
- Ability to work under pressure and ask for support when required.
- Team player, capable of working proactively with the minimum of supervision.
- Confident and enthusiastic person who is able to manage a varied and unpredictable workload.
