GCP Technical Architect
Purpose:
Lead the conception, validation and implementation of software and cloud architectures in GCP (preferred) and Azure (valued), promoting safe and scalable solutions aligned with the business objectives, good practices and innovation.
Responsibilities
Create and validate cloud architectures that support the business objectives, including integration, safety, and performance strategies, as well as cost efficiency.
Promote norms, component re-usage, governance and automation in deploy processes.
Aid in modernization, digital transformation, PoC's and adoption of new technologies like AI and cloud-native projects.
Develop PoC's to test and validate new technological solutions.
Influence and guide the technical teams on the implementation of good practices related with cloud, security, DevOPs, and CI/CD.
Skills
Degree in Computer Science or in similar areas.
More than 5 years of experience in software architecture, focusing on microservices, API's, integrations and distributed solutions.
Deep knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including the main components:
Cloud DNS, VPC, Cloud Load Balancer, Cloud Armor, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging, Cloud Pub/Sub, Artifact Registry, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud IAM, Secret Manager.
Capable of conceptualize, evaluate and manage cloud architectures, including landing zones, reusable components, deployment and governance.
Ability to transform requirements into modular solutions, that are secure and scalable, with focus in microservices, API's and cloud-native.
Lead the definition of the technical guidelines, architectural standards and ADR's, promoting reusable and normalized components.
Ability to study and evaluate use cases (Go/NoGo2 Cloud) considering dependencies, security, costs and risks.
Knowledge of integration with new AI technologies, namely GenAI.
Strong experience with security, monitoring and mentorship of technical teams.
Experience with Azure and regulated environments focused on governance and security (good to have).
GCP Certifications like Cloud Architect and Cloud Engineer (good to have).
Practical knowledge of orchestration and deployment tools like Kubernetes, Terraform and GitOps (good to have).
Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory).
