About the job
- The Fund Financial Controller is part of the Private Capital activity which covers services including depositary, register keeping, accounting services and the outsourcing of fund financial controlling from fund managers and institutional companies. The Fund Financial Controller supports the financial control of the fund, monitors the fund, confirms the NAV (Net asset value) produced by the provider, calculates fees, tax ratios, portfolio returns and forecasts and coordinate for client with all others services
Your Main Activities Are
- Attend workshops on new clients onboarding, contribute to work on multi-location clients, contribute to establishing operational processes and new service offers
- Support the financial control of funds and the management of investor documents, Produce capital call and distributions notices, Create all transactions in eFront or Sentry management tool
- Monitor the financial conditions relating to deals to calculate, where applicable, the necessary collateral
- Examine and record securities and cash movements. Ensure the reconciliation of positions, process and justify positions breaks with the custodian, the liability manager and the fund accountant: cash, securities
- Calculate and record management fees, Calculate the regulatory, statutory and tax ratios applicable to the funds as well as portfolio returns and forecasts
- Justify the prices used to value unlisted financial instruments
- Ensure client satisfaction by following up on their instructions, ensuring that queries are dealt in a timely manner and respecting the norms and standards of 2S
- Coordinate and plan the training of the newcomers (liaising with the trainers, team leader, supervisor) and acting as tutor
- Performing the controls on more risk sensitive operations. Contribute to the improvement of the risk mitigation framework by identifying operational risks and proposing solutions to mitigate them
- Actively contribute to a good team atmosphere and follow the Group’s code of conduct
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
- Up to 2 years of experience in Banking and Financial Operations, Accounting or Finance
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of Transversal Financial Markets and Financial Markets and Products Law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools, namely Excel
- Proactivity, attention to detail and analytical ability
- Ability to understand, explain and support change
