We are looking for a Functional Safety Engineer to join our Above Water Systems team at Thales!
Your mission:
Analyse customer requirements and translate them into system requirements for functional safety
Define the Safety Case architecture, identify system hazards, maintain the hazard log, and define mitigation measures to reduce system-related risks
Formalise the safety strategy in a Safety Program Plan document
Collect evidence and perform the safety analysis
Deliver the System Safety Assessment Report
Your profile:
Degree in Engineering
Experience as Functional Safety Engineer, preferably in Civil and Military aerospace avionic systems development
Knowledge of the disciplines of systems engineering, software engineering and systems/software testing
Fluency in Portuguese and English
