Join us as an ESG data analyst intern!
We're looking for a dynamic candidate to join our ESG Department in Lisbon, with an ideal start date in September or October. You will play a key role in supporting Euronext’s sustainability journey by ensuring robust data collection, analysis and reporting in line with our ESG strategy and regulatory requirements.
You will report to the ESG Data Manager within the Finance department. You will work very closely with the ESG Team and will contribute to the general company’s efforts to become “the sustainable leading exchange” and more globally to the ESG strategy of the Euronext group. You will be working closely with internal and external stakeholders to collect, analyze and interpret data and prepare the reports related to ESG/sustainability topics, ensuring its accuracy and relevance.
You will be primarily responsible for:
Actively contribute to the data collection, analysis and reporting required by the ESG strategy and regulation as addressed by and with the ESG Team and under the supervision of the ESG Data Manager
Work with the different business and departments to effectively collect and analyze ESG data
Be part of the roll-out of the relevant technology solution to manage ESG data collection, performance management and reporting and support the identification of opportunities for improvements on reporting requirements
Support the ESG team in the roll-out of new ESG regulations, by ensuring collection of new data points
Contribute to the preparation of regular internal reporting on ESG related metrics, assist in analysis to help understand trends and where strategic controls are needed
Maintain accurate database from different sources of the relevant ESG metrics to ensure that both the ESG team and other internal stakeholders can answer the questions they have to for questionnaires (rating agencies, investors, clients etc.)
Your profile:
Recent graduate or student in Finance, Accounting, Sustainability, or a related field
Very good command of English (oral and written)
Previous internship or academic project experience in data analysis or reporting
Ability to work in a multicultural and complex environment
Background in finance, accounting, sustainability or non-financial reporting
Understanding of ESG trends and regulatory framework
Attitude for project management
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
Good command of data mgt and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, ERP, etc). Coding skills are a plus.
