What You'll do:
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines, architectures, and datasets;
- Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to address specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement;
- Develop processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management;
- Manipulate, process, and extract value from disconnected datasets;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data workflows and reliable insights;
- Implement solutions leveraging both on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS);
- Contribute to the improvement of data quality, governance, and performance;
- Hybrid Work Model.
What You Are:
- Solid professional experience as a Data Engineer;
- Proven track record in building and optimizing scalable data pipelines and architectures;
- Strong experience with root cause analysis on data and processes;
- Advanced working knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.);
- Proficiency with object-oriented or functional programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Scala;
- Experience with big data tools such as Apache Sqoop, Apache NiFi, Apache Spark, and Kafka;
- Familiarity with stream-processing systems such as Apache Kafka and Apache Spark Streaming;
- Experience with workflow orchestration and pipeline management tools (e.g., Apache Airflow);
- Hands-on experience with cloud services in Azure (ADLS, Databricks) and/or AWS (EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, Lambda);
- Familiarity with data visualization tools;
- Previous experience in data governance and metadata management (Nice to have);
- Knowledge of advanced analytics or machine learning workflows (Nice to have);
- Exposure to modern data lakehouse architectures (Nice to have).
