Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Customer Project Manager to join our team in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex customer projects from inception to completion, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
Project planning and execution including scope, quality, timelines, deliverables & budget across multiple projects
Managing change and project scope to minimise additional unfunded work and maximise funded change requests
Building strong customer relationships with understanding of their business challenges and priorities across multiple accounts
Working collaboratively with R&D teams to create and prioritise work items in the product backlog in line with customer plans & commitments
Proactive and regular communication with customers to ensure a shared understanding of status, risks and assumptions using a combination of reports and verbal communication
Supporting the culture of continuous improvement within Professional Services to improve project outcomes for our customers and Vantiva.
Managing project dependencies and impediments, particularly dependencies met by the customers
Proactive management of costs vs budget
Qualifications
Holder of a degree in electronic engineering /software engineering / computer science
Significant experience of managing multiple software projects in a customer facing role
Experience in managing customer expectations and building strong relationships
Excellent communication skills
Familiar with Agile development methodologies and roles, in particular Product Owner and Scrum Master
Ability to quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts and a background in consumer video or broadband technologies
Negotiation skills to agree scope and timelines with customers
Experience of using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) & Microsoft Project
Strong leadership skills to help guide and motivate R&D teams
Fluent in English
