We are in search of a Business Controller to join our innovative team as our new #bloqstar. In this role, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring a perfect match between our activities and commercial agreements with the invoices that we send and approve. You will work in the partnership management team and operate in the space between Operations, Finance and our Partners.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analyse, review and re-design the client invoicing process from activity to payment ;
- Map, review and re/design the supplier activity tracking and invoice revision process ;
- Define the system requirements to capture all operational activities and the specific data necessary to invoice and pay correctly ;
- Manage asset data (location, deployment, assessments and refurbs) with focus on invoicing and financial tracking ;
- Revise invoice discrepancies, manage missing lines and liaise with the customer support Team to resolve finance disputes ;
- Report on invoicing accuracy and success ;
- Support decision-making with data-driven analysis and ensure alignment with business strategy and service level expectations.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Management, Logistics, or a related field ;
- At least 3 years of experience in operations, finance, or a similar role, preferably having worked in operational finance, operational controlling and/or P&L management ;
- Analytical, methodical, and process-oriented ;
- Excellent organizational and data sharing skills ;
- Good communication, team collaboration, and organizational skills ;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and continuously improving environment.
It would be great if you would also have:

Previous experience in a start-up or fast-growing environment;
- Experience with Odoo and AirTable is a big plus;
- Familiarity with deployment and maintenance operations ;
