What is this role about?
SAFe Scum Masters are servant leaders who facilitate team events and processes and support agile teams in delivering value. They coach the team in Scrum, built-in-quality, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and ensure that the agreed agile processes are followed. They also help to remove impediments and foster an environment for high-performing team dynamics, continuous flow and relentless improvement.What will your responsibilities be?
- Maximize the team's performance and success by partnering closely with the Product Owner;
- Conduct/Facilitate group dynamics and agile ceremonies;
- Foster a motivating and sustainable work environment for the team;
- Promote a safe, fault-tolerant environment that facilitates learning from mistakes;
- Enable the team to reach self-organization and work productively;
- Stay up-to-date to coach the team and organization regarding lean and modern agile mindset;
- Participate in internal and external communities to promote continuous improvement in the team’s daily activities;
- Manage agile artifacts and support the team in identifying and adopting the most suitable agile framework/methods
- being accountable for ensuring effective agile practices;
- Help the team maintain the big picture, while being responsible for ensuring alignment and focus;
- Ensure that the team has a transparent work model.
What requirements are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable job expertise;
- At least 5 years of professional experience;
- Experience in teaching agile methodologies and values, coaching teams and team building;
- Experience in moderating and facilitating workshops;
- Solid experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in an international hybrid context (Onsite and home office);
- Excellent knowledge of methods such as Scrum, Kanban, and ideally the SAFe framework;
- Ability to drive change, by challenging and supporting the team during the process;
- Experience with Atlassian tool chain and managing the team’s workspaces (e.g., Jira, Confluence);
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
