Role Overview: We are looking for a manager with expertise in global travel management, vendor and partner relations, service management, administration of online booking and expense tools, and travel agency management. In this role the Hub Manager will have the ability to support the business travel ecosystem and enhance the shared service to meet the needs of our entities and business travelers. You will also foster communication and collaboration across multiple teams and work with employees at different levels and countries. You will be excited about moving projects forward and shaping the future of the hub and has a successful history of doing so.
What you do:
- Act as a service owner for Amadeus Cytric, travel agency, further service providers and internal interfaces, ensure a seamless deployment and run of Allianz' global travel program and lead further Implementations• Manage standardization and harmonization of processes to reduce costs and to make use of competitive advantages in the area of travel-approvals, booking, on-trip services, payment, reimbursement for mobile-, online-, and offline processes.• Coordinating the agreement among multiple suppliers engaged in those projects and manage project requests.• Creation of business cases according to all involved project parties and different suppliers.• Administration of travel policy rules and requirements in booking channels and requirement management of functionalities and workflow for platform development to ensure compliance.• Supplier management across different countries participating in the regional hub.• Manage operational requirements (security, tax, airline, hotel etc.) requirements and communicate those with important partners and travelers through the channels.• Stakeholder management with interfaces and contact persons in Allianz entities (Allianz entities, Allianz group functions).• Act as secondary contact and support for all company employees, provide end-user trainings and ensure up-to-date communication channels.• Spend management, performance controlling, and reporting requirements to identify trends, gaps and opportunities (cost savings, policy compliance, etc.) .• Provision of required regular and ad hoc reportings upon the request of partners and entities.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration (or similar studies) or professional training as travel agent, and 5-10 years of work experiences• 5+ years of work experience in travel management or in strategic sales for travel agency, travel online booking tool, or GDS providers• 5+ years' experience managing complex projects with multiple partners and timelines• Experience of service delivery processes in business travel, best practices, and new trends• Knowledge of leading travel& expense tools (Amadeus Cytric) preferable• Work experience at a global corporation is advantageous• Languages: fluent written and spoken German and English - further languages are advantageous but not mandatory• Understanding and profound knowledge for planning, booking, payment and expense processes in the field of business travel• Profound knowledge of and experience in business travel industry standards, best-practices, functionalities, workflows in GDS systems, digital online booking tool systems and in operations of business travel agencies• Profound product knowledge in the field of airlines, hotel, rental cars, and rail• Passion and enthusiasm for the your responsibilities and proficient in promoting transparent and welcoming communication in their work to ensure we have a successful travel program where employees engaging in the program have a seamless travel experience• Strong level of ownership while acting and working in a team and network. Strategic and innovative business development in business travel market• Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
