Network & Security Specialist
Responsibilities
- Define network and security architectures according to the scope of the solution for the client
- Implement the developed or received architecture
- Implementation on existing networks of the configurations defined by documentation and risk management in the agreed time frames
- Monitoring for issues during the implementation stage of the projects
- Have technical meetings with clients and internal teams to make sure that the proposed solutions serves the objectives and the specified scopes
- Present the architecture, solution and implementation to the client
Skills
- Degree in Informatics Engineering, Computer Science or similar areas
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in similar roles
- Experience in IP networks, OSI layer, routing protocols, WAN, MPLS
- Experience in Datacenter ecosystems (switching, Layer3 routing, firewalls, balancing)
- Experience with SD-Wan networks suppliers (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo-Alto)
- Experience elaborating architectures according to the manufacturer references
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proactive approach to identify and solve problems
- Certifications in the mentioned technologies are a plus
- Fluent in English - written and spoken (mandatory)
- Role requires on-site presence in Lisbon or Porto 3x a week
