Job Description
At Inetum you have space to grow and boost your talent! We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the transformation of a legacy payment system into a modern, scalable platform.
This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with a strong technical background in software development (Java, Angular) and proven experience managing complex IT projects in the financial sector. We have a strong footprint in the Banking sector with a lot of challenges for you!
Location: Lisbon
Main Responsibilities:
- Leads and coordinates project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Oversees the migration from legacy systems to a modern architecture, working closely with backend (Java) and frontend (Angular) development teams.
- Applys Agile methodologies (Scrum) to manage sprints, backlogs, and team collaboration.
- Facilitates communication between cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and developers.
- Monitors project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensures alignment with business goals and user needs.
Qualifications
Profile:
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, ideally having started as a developer.
- Strong technical background in Java (backend) and Angular (frontend).
- Experience in financial services, credit institutions, or payment systems.
- Proven track record in platform migrations and managing complex technical transitions.
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, Jira, Service Now, and Microsoft Office tools
- Proficiency in English and French (mandatory).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented mindset.
