Internship | Medical & Health Policy Chapter

The Opportunity
We are looking for a dedicated and self-motivated talent to join Roche Diagnostics Portugal for a 1-year professional internship with the medical affairs and Health policy team ideally starting in July 2025.
As part of a dynamic team, during the internship you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced business partners and stakeholders on meaningful projects related to Roche high medical value areas, offering you the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the diagnostics industry! Your role will allow you to develop your skills and grow in the following areas:
Provide support in medical review for materials like brochures, websites, learning centers, etc. Ensure these materials, targeted at Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), are scientifically and medically accurate, balanced, and compliant.
Assist in the planning of symposiums and other medical events by providing support for both logistical and content-related elements, ensuring adherence to defined procedures and guidelines and the smooth execution of these events.
Assist the Medical & Health Policy Chapter by supporting the preparation of Advisory Boards and Focus Groups. This involves coordinating and supporting interactions with experts to gather valuable insights that will be used to refine our strategy and tactics, which is crucial for strategic decision-making.
Assist in creating educational content for internal and external audiences, including webinars, training materials (slides and presentations), e-learning modules, infographics, fact sheets, etc..
Support internal training activities, ensuring our teams have the required knowledge and resources, and are properly equipped.
Understand local clinical and economic evidence needs and how to translate those into action, driving the implementation of local studies and initiatives to close the evidence gaps.
Participate in the development of disease awareness and patient advocacy campaigns
Who you are
You recently got a medical (MD), pharmacy (PharmD), or advanced science degree (MSc/Ph.D.) in a healthcare-related discipline, and you possess a strong passion for health and patient care. You excel in building successful working relationships with colleagues and external partners, and you demonstrate curiosity, eagerness to learn, strategic thinking, and a strong enthusiasm for how science can lead to improved outcomes for patients:

You embrace challenges in a positive way and feel confident and comfortable in sharing your views and ideas.
