Finance Control Analyst

Pernod Ricard Portugal is hiring a Finance Control Analyst for the Finance department, located in Lisbon.

This person will have as main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to implement tools and procedures that foster a robust control environment and enhance operational efficiency.

• Proactively identify risks and opportunities related to main drivers of P/L statement and BS position, as well as accurate Cash flow analysis and estimations

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting to both Pernod Ricard Group and internal stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making.

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and its accruals, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.

• Support the development of quarterly financial projections, enabling foresight in financial planning.

• Elaborate and deliver comprehensive financial reports to relevant stakeholders, maintaining a clear line of communication regarding financial performance.

• Supervise management applications to ensure the accurate flow of information, respecting deadlines and enhancing reporting integrity.

• Actively inform stakeholders about business activities, environmental factors, and potential risks or opportunities, fostering a culture of transparency.

• Guarantee the accuracy of financial information by identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.

• Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business, enabling unbiased financial analysis.

• Serve as a liaison between third parties and the accounting department, ensuring clarity in processes and implications of financial decisions.

Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial control or analysis is required.

• Proficiency in Portuguese (mandatory), English and Spanish is a plus

• Strong analytical thinking

• Excellent communication skills

• Proactive problem-solving

• Ability to work collaboratively
