The Role

This vital phase of the bioprocess ensures that the product generated during upstream processing meets rigorous standards of purity and concentration through advanced methodologies such as chromatography and filtration. As part of our ongoing expansion to enhance operational capabilities and respond swiftly to customer demands, we are seeking a highly qualified Scientist/Team leader to lead and coordinate purification workflows to ensure efficient and consistent antibody production, supervise and mentor team members to maintain high standards of performance and compliance and oversee daily operations within the purification unit to guarantee the timely delivery of high-purity products.
Your Profile
FairJourney Biologics is seeking a Scientist / Team leader, with the following characteristics:
- Advanced Expertise: You hold a PhD in a relevant scientific discipline, demonstrating a deep understanding of bioprocessing principles or equivalent experience.
- Proven Experience: You bring 4 to 5 years of hands-on laboratory experience, particularly in protein purification, showcasing your technical proficiency.
- Technical Mastery: You have extensive practical knowledge using ÄKTA chromatography systems and tangential flow filtration (TFF) technologies, critical tools in downstream processing.
- Scale-Up Experience: Experience working with pilot scale bioprocessing is highly valued, positioning you to contribute to both development and manufacturing phases.
- Regulatory Familiarity: Experience within a Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environment is an advantage, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Leadership Skills: You have a proven track record in team management, capable of inspiring and guiding colleagues to achieve high-performance results.
- Excellent Communication: You are an effective communicator, adept at conveying complex scientific concepts clearly and fostering collaboration across teams.
- Dynamic Problem Solver: Your proactive and analytical mindset allows you to tackle challenges efficiently and drive continuous process improvement.
- Strong Team Player: You excel in a collaborative environment, bringing positive interpersonal skills that support a cohesive and motivated team.
- Language Proficiency: You possess excellent written and spoken English skills, enabling clear documentation and seamless international communication.
