Defect Manager

Responsibilities
Manage the defect lifecycle from identification to resolution.
Coordinate with development, testing, and business teams to ensure proper prioritization and handling of defects, actively pushing for progress.
Monitor and report on quality metrics and defect resolution progress, on a daily basis ensuring visibility and supporting decision-making.

Skills
Degree in areas such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, IT, or similar fields.
At least 3 years in leadership or coordination roles.
Experience with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, Azure DevOps).
Strong knowledge of testing processes and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Familiarity with complex environments.
Familiarity with the financial sector is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.
Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, taking ownership and ensuring progress.
Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively.
Fluency in English and Portuguese (spoken and written).
