1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With over 550 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we’re seeking a Category Specialist to support our growing global team.
Reporting directly to one of our Category Managers, Consumer Electronics, the Category Specialist will be responsible for building high quality product bundle recommendations for our customers alongside our Category Management team. You will have the opportunity to build bundle recommendations using Product Bundles management tools and also work with PowerBI for data analysis to create retail solutions our customers depend on!
As a Category Specialist at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:
- Support the Consumer Electronics team in building high-quality product bundles, adapting to seasonality and shifting priorities which may include being assigned to other categories as a floater during peak seasons
- Create superb product bundle combinations for our partners throughout their lifecycle to improve sales by leveraging data analysis and your expertise
- Analyse website metrics and customer behaviour data to make intelligent decisions in order to optimise Product Bundles ensuring we drive sales and profitability
- Ensure accuracy and quality of product bundle builds, troubleshooting errors as needed by providing Quality Assurance for assigned categories
- Participate as functional specialist in Category workshops by articulating performance issues, and assist with facilitating improvements that would be beneficial to retailer performance.
- Review and implement suggestions from AI Powered Tools to improve our bundles
- Maintain high quality product bundle builds with low margin of error and high performance
- Resolve customer raised support tickets with efficient and scalable solutions
- Research products to stay current with market trends
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

- Great verbal communication skills in English with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences

Additional Details:
- This is a temporary position with a 1-year contract with the opportunity for an extension
- This is a remote position, with occasional visits to Porto or Lisbon offices
- This role requires the candidate to have the authority to work in, and be located in Portugal
- This position requires up to 5% travel
