A Snapshot of Your Day
You’ll review and analyze financial figures, discuss and provide guidance on accounting related topics to business colleagues, prepare and provide documentation and explanations to external auditors and execute accounting tasks and controls. Exchanges with persons from different countries, by email or live meetings, are a common day-to-day activity.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Coordinate the monthly financial closing and ensure that the reporting requirements are fulfilled;
- Perform regular critical reviews of the Balance Sheet and P&L;
- Perform foreign exchange and hedge accounting related tasks;
- Advise the Operating Business on accounting issues and special transactions;
- Provide support and maintain effective communication with internal and external partners like local management, headquarters, auditors and other departments;
- Drive and support the implementation of digitalization initiatives and solutions;
- Perform and implement accounting controls;
- Support and assist in different projects like M&A transactions and process improvements within the accounting area.
What You Bring
- Degree in Accounting, Business Administration & Finance or similar;
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in Audit, Accounting or similar;
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving and efficient communication skills;
- Ability to work in a changing environment;
- Good knowledge of SAP system and Proficiency in MS Excel & Office;
- Ability to adapt and learn new skills;
- Initiative, proactivity and team play;
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
