We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury Team, in Lisbon.
Location and schedule: Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Defensores Chaves 45, Lisboa), with Hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash reconciliation and positioning in the US, Canada, and Europe
- Support requests related to cash management including positive pay, proofs of payment and monitoring of worldwide bank fees
- Perform month-end close entries
- Support year-end financial audit
- Prepare electronic payments and intercompany bank transfers
- Support foreign exchange hedging program by preparing trade confirmations, releasing wires, maintaining associated spreadsheets, and completing accounting entries
- Support bank/3rd party documentation requests
- Serve as cross-functional backup for other department duties, including, but not limited to: intercompany proposals and bank portal maintenance
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (tax, accounting, legal and divisional finance), as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Corporate Treasury or the banking industry
- Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team with strong technical ability and customer orientation
- Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Continuous improvement focused, attention to detail and ability to organize and plan
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent multi-tasking, follow-through, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel
- Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Bloomberg helpful
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related field.
