We are seeking a Treasury Analyst to join our Treasury Team, in Lisbon.
Location and schedule: Lisbon, Portugal (Av. Defensores Chaves 45, Lisboa), with Hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
Manage daily cash reconciliation and positioning in the US, Canada, and Europe
Support requests related to cash management including positive pay, proofs of payment and monitoring of worldwide bank fees
Perform month-end close entries
Support year-end financial audit
Prepare electronic payments and intercompany bank transfers
Support foreign exchange hedging program by preparing trade confirmations, releasing wires, maintaining associated spreadsheets, and completing accounting entries
Support bank/3rd party documentation requests
Serve as cross-functional backup for other department duties, including, but not limited to: intercompany proposals and bank portal maintenance
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (tax, accounting, legal and divisional finance), as required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Corporate Treasury or the banking industry
Self-motivated with ability to work both independently and as part of a team with strong technical ability and customer orientation
Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Continuous improvement focused, attention to detail and ability to organize and plan
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent multi-tasking, follow-through, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with emphasis on Excel
Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and Bloomberg helpful
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other related field.
