About the Team
The Trade & Revenue Management (TRM) team are Commercial Challengers, accelerating self-care simplification. The TRM Lead Portugal is part of the Western Europe TRM team, reporting to the WEU Zone TRM Head and working closely with the Country Head for Portugal.
Job Purpose
Create value through the full spectrum of TRM levers—Commercial Policy, Pricing, Pack/Price Architecture, Channel/Product Mix—to positively impact Net Sales, Profitability, and Cashflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Commercial Policy: Design optimal commercial policies with the Commercial Team to activate Opella brands across channels, meet GTN targets, and maximize Pay-for-Performance.
- Pricing: Lead local pricing processes. Drive price increases using pricing strategy (competitive index and pack architecture).
- Promotion: Conduct promo ROI analysis to ensure cost-efficient in-store activation investment across brands.
- Mix Management: Monitor and drive positive SKU, brand, channel, and customer mix through tailored action plans based on data and strategy.
- Portfolio Optimization & Simplification:
- Brand Architecture: Support marketers in identifying new pricing/sizing opportunities (e.g., trial packs, value packs).
- Optimization: Collaborate with EULA & Global teams to optimize portfolio (e.g., shared packaging, harmonized pack sizes).
- Innovation: Participate in local innovation processes to define sustainable, profitable go-to-market strategies with appropriate GTN investment.
- COGS Management: Support brand managers in challenging COGS with IA & CMO. Review cost implications on P&L with brand and finance teams.
- Sales Translation: Lead Sales Out to Sales In translation as part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process. Collaborate with Country Head to ensure robust Net Sales assumptions.
Your Profile
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, or Analytics.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in Revenue Management, Finance, or Commercial roles. FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, or Consultancy background preferred.
Soft Skills:
- High learning agility
- Ability to challenge and drive change

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player
Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Power BI knowledge is a plus
Languages:
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
