About the role
- Our Development & Data Factory team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department.
- As a Technical Change & Release Manager, you will ensure the robustness and stability of the organization’s IT platforms and systems by overseeing the change and release processes.
- You will be accountable for:
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT changes and releases, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Establishing and maintaining change and release management policies, standards, and best practices.
- Defining the release strategy, release processes and requirements across the DT organization (incl. Digital Enablement and the CoEs).
- Collaborating with stakeholders to assess change impacts (e.g., including changes affecting multiple business functions/business operations) and prioritize requests.
- Planning and coordinating system upgrades, patches, and software deployments to minimize disruption.
- Implementing automated tools to streamline and improve the change and release management processes.
- Reviewing and quality assuring release documentation provided by project teams and providing the final go-ahead for release.
- Driving risk assessments and mitigation strategies for changes and releases, including roll-back plans.
- We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.
About you
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field or a comparable field.
- Relevant work experience in Technical Change Management or Release Management.
- Competencies:
- Expert in managing end-to-end change and release processes to ensure seamless delivery of IT services and solutions.
- Deep knowledge of change management frameworks, such as ITIL, and their application in complex IT environments.
- Extensive expertise in release planning, coordination, and execution to minimize disruptions and ensure successful deployments.
- Advanced proficiency in risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to changes and releases.
- Experienced in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align changes with business objectives and technical requirements.

About the pay and benefits
- Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 58 400 euros to 73 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
