Team Manager for Quality Support for Coloplast Manufacturing Portugal
Do you want to join the creation and development of the new manufacturing for our Continence Care segment within Coloplast?
Support the production process, from a quality function, to produce the products our users’ needs in the quality needed?
Then look at this position: Team Manager for the Quality Support
Here you will play a key role in ensuring the production environment complies with production standards we aim to follow and thereby ensuring the safety of our users.
What You will Do:
Provide leadership of the Quality Support team and management of the department
Building and maintaining a team responsible for quality support towards the production, both running production new introductions
Hiring engineers and technicians
Train and develop the team
Evaluate resource pull
Evaluate service suppliers together with the team for potential consultancy and external support as service level agreements
Act as quality partner for all production managers (Value Stream Managers)
Support and drive the global quality processes within Quality Support a
Develop and maintain the local procedures for Quality Support together with the team
Ensure the quality setup production operations and release is defined and maintained
Own and maintain the Test Equipment across the production on site
Ensure training and follow up of Test Methods for in production
Ensure support towards quality challenges in production and from external sources, such as Complaints or Audits
Your Qualifications:
Academic background: A relevant academic background (B.Sc. or higher).
Experience:
Minimum 2 years as a Team Manager
Expertise and knowledge of Cleanroom production, training, New Product Introduction, supplier management, ISO13485, MDR
Project knowledge and experience (Project Management experience is a plus)
Production process and production environment knowledge
Solid understanding within the field of Quality i.e. GDP and GMP etc. (Quality Assurance experience is a plus)
Business understanding: Holistic understanding of End-To-End production
Language Proficiency: Fluent in spoken and written English (other languages are a plus).
Timing:
Expected start is October 1st, 2025.
Workplace will be Felgueiras in Portugal
During the first period the workplace will be at a rented office in Felgueiras, Portugal; with regular visits to the building site in Felgueiras to oversee the implementation and delivery of new machines, test method implementation and include some travel for training and introductions at our sites in Hungary and Denmark.
The travel program will be defined together with the manager.
