We are searching for an experienced Solution Architect to lead the design, governance, and evolution of complex, distributed, and scalable enterprise systems. This role demands advanced technical expertise in Java/Spring Boot, cloud and hybrid architectures, and enterprise integration patterns, along with proven leadership skills to influence organizational architecture decisions and drive transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of end-to-end enterprise solutions across on-premises, off-premises, cloud-native, and hybrid environments
- Architect and evolve distributed systems with a sharp focus on low latency, high throughput, resilience, scalability, and maintainability
- Drive the adoption and refinement of enterprise architecture patterns, including microservices, event-driven architecture, and domain-driven design (DDD)
- Establish robust frameworks for security, compliance, and data privacy in systems architecture, ensuring adherence to standards like SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR
- Build and champion an Architecture and Technology Center of Excellence (CoE) to institutionalize architectural best practices, guidelines, and toolkits
- Define and enforce enterprise-wide architecture principles, working in partnership with Principal Architects, technical leads, and senior business stakeholders
- Design and implement long-term technology roadmaps and modernization strategies that align with overall business objectives
- Lead the translation of business goals into robust technology strategies, acting as a trusted advisor to executive and upper management teams
- Oversee architectural reviews, technical risk assessments, and system performance evaluations, identifying and addressing critical gaps
- Serve as a mentor and thought leader, empowering engineering and architecture teams with guidance, hands-on leadership, and training
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with product, engineering, operations, and security teams to enable the successful delivery of enterprise solutions
- Serve as a key stakeholder in vendor selection and external technology assessment processes to ensure alignment with architectural and business goals
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and enterprise solution architecture, with proven expertise in designing and delivering at scale
- Demonstrated success in leading 3+ large-scale projects in a Solution Architecture capacity within the last 2-3 years
- Advanced knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture, backed by hands-on experience
- Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid cloud/on-prem integration, and modern cloud-native technologies
- Deep expertise in networking, database systems (SQL/NoSQL), API management, and system observability best practices
- Track record in implementing secure, compliant, and high-quality architectures that meet regulatory demands (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA)
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence and achieve alignment with senior management and cross-functional teams
- English level of B2+ or higher for impactful verbal and written communication in both technical and business contexts
Nice to have
- Certifications: TOGAF, AWS/GCP/Azure Architect, CISSP, or similar
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Familiarity with AI/ML integration, data platforms, and real-time analytics
