Job Summary
Keyrus is looking for a Senior Tester / Test Manager to lead and execute quality assurance activities across multiple strategic projects. You’ll work closely with test managers, project managers, and development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery that aligns with both functional and non-functional requirements. You’ll play a key part in evolving QA frameworks and introducing automation and AI-driven testing strategies.
This position is Hybrid in Porto.

Key Responsibilities
- Define and support the test and integration approach for multiple projects.
- Estimate, plan, prioritise, and coordinate testing activities.
- Identify, monitor, and manage risks related to testing and quality assurance.
- Provide regular KPI-based reporting on test execution and automation progress.
- Lead root cause analysis of software defects and support solution implementation.
- Collaborate with other QA and DevOps teams to align testing tools, automation strategies, and practices.
- Contribute to the definition and adoption of CI/CD pipelines supporting test-by-design and embedded automated tests.
- Define testing frameworks and best practices; provide technical QA guidance to development and operations teams.
- Promote and evolve test automation and AI testing approaches for future-readiness.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and synchronise with other QA units.
Requirements for the role
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in software testing and QA, being the last one in a leadership position.
- Hands-on experience working within Agile development environments.
- Proven track record in test automation implementation.
- Expertise in software testing, QA methodology, and testing processes.
- Solid experience with test automation tools: Postman, Selenium, Cucumber, Xray, BrowserStack.
- Experience integrating testing within CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with test planning, risk management, and test metrics/KPIs.
- Ability to implement QA solutions aligned with DevOps practices.
- Fluent in English
- Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
