The Universal Kraft group has been actively developing renewable energy solutions for over 20 years. Our projects span from wind and solar to waste-to-energy, water treatment, and energy storage solutions, including green Hydrogen and green Ammonia.
With offices in Canada, Portugal, Spain and Sweden, we are continuously expanding, along with our team. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to lead and drive our renewable energy projects.
As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and closeout. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest standards.
In addition to your project responsibilities, you will lead and support the Project Management team, contributing to the development of internal structures, tools and processes. Strong leadership, a solutions-driven mindset and excellent communication skills will be essential to ensure successful delivery and alignment across all stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the planning, execution and completion of renewable energy projects
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure delivery within scope, timeline and budget
- Provide leadership and support to the Project Management team
- Contribute to the development and implementation of project management tools and processes
- Maintain and track project plans, schedules and budgets
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Report project progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Liaise with external suppliers and contractors to secure timely delivery of services and components
- Provide technical input and guidance to project teams
- Collaborate closely with teams across engineering, development, legal and finance to ensure project success
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Analyse project outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Support the early-stage development of new projects with technical and feasibility insights

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management or a related field
- Proven experience managing renewable energy projects, ideally in utility-scale solar, wind or energy storage
- Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and project management best practices
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
- Experience overseeing or coordinating project management teams or functions
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
- Experience navigating permitting processes and regulatory frameworks (experience in our key markets is a plus)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is strongly preferred
- Experience managing project budgets and financial reporting
- Quick learner
- Fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese or French are a plus
