Job Title: Senior OT/IIoT Consultant

Overview / Summary:
We are looking for a Senior OT/IIoT Consultant to define the strategy and lead the implementation of data collection within the scope of Industry 4.0, focusing on calculating OEE% across a heterogeneous machine fleet (type, age, vendor) and integrating with the client’s MES in the textile sector.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Audit the equipment fleet (1970–2025; multiple brands) and map data points: stoppages, times/states, alarms, consumption, quantities, and speed/RPM.
- Design the OT/IIoT strategy and connectivity architecture by machine family, including retrofitting when necessary.
- Select and configure gateways/edge, PLCs, SCADA/Historian, and time-series databases for reliable data collection, source-side timestamping, and offline buffering.
- Integrate data with the MES (API/DB), normalizing events/states and supporting OEE calculation.
- Establish OT/IT security and networking best practices and support data governance.
- Document solutions, train teams (Production, Maintenance, IT), and prepare Standard Operating Procedures for continuous operation.
