We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Research Manager to join our Marketing Intelligence Team at Flix. In this role, you will lead research initiatives to evaluate brand and marketing effectiveness, while generating insights about customer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
You will be responsible for measuring brand performance and providing the analytical foundation for strategic, data-driven business decisions. Your work will play a critical role in guiding our brand strategy and ensuring marketing efforts are aligned with business objectives.
In your day-to-day activities, you will be using a diverse set of tools including: Excel, Powerpoint, SQL, Power BI, online access panels and more.
About the Role
- Plan and implement marketing research projects, mainly quantitative surveys via online access panels. (Note: UX research is not part of this role.) You will connect with relevant service providers, follow up on developments in data collection and analysis, and keep the research toolbox up to date.
Collaborate with Flix teams working on Brand and other Marketing areas such as Commercial Steering, Country Launches, and more. Understand their respective priorities and challenges to develop a tailored research program. Your role will focus on translating business questions into research objectives and in turn research insights into business actions.
- Lead and execute extensive and continuous Brand Tracking as well as ad-hoc projects such as ad pre-testing or exploration of new product concepts. Organize face-to-face interviews through external service providers, covering several markets for most projects.

Work with external service providers for the fieldwork, while owning the analysis and reporting. Define the questionnaire content, ensure the quality of the survey implementation, analyze the response data and create tailored reports and presentations for different stakeholders in different markets and up to higher management levels, deriving conclusions and suggesting actions.
- Identify suitable research methodologies to answer questions and find suitable partners for the implementation, balancing quality, budget, and timelines. Be thorough, but pragmatic.
- Implement consistent data cleaning steps and collaborate with the analyst team to add the latest survey data to the existing Power BI report with all survey times, markets and market-specific adjustments. Plan and monitor the Research budget.
- Collaborate with the marketing attribution team for bringing survey results data into our attribution modeling stack.
About You
- Min. 5 years of experience in market research, ideally with hands-on experience from research agency side or in a DIY setting on client side.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills. Self-organized approach to handle multiple projects and stakeholders across different markets at a time, prioritizing among different requests. High interest in research methodology and in ensuring data quality, attention to detail in project execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to explain research methodology and results to various audiences and to translate the audiences’ requirements into research specifications.
- Experience with data collection via online access panels.
- Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative data analyses, ideally finding links among qualitative and quantitative analyses, and generating insights and recommendations accordingly.
- Skilled in data handling and reporting setup using Excel and Power BI. Capable of driving data storytelling through powerful PowerPoint presentations.
- Using R, Python, or similar tools is a plus.
